After rain, I have some water accumulating into the trunk lid, with absolutely no water leak into the trunk. I explain: when I open the trunk lid up, the water exits on both sides, where the glass meets the lid (there's some space just below the seal), close to the rubber boots for the electrical wires. I think I have easily 8oz of water pouring outside.
What I don't understand is where this water accumulates exactly (I have no rust on glass corners), of course in the lid but b/w the glass and the sheet metal !? and where this water exactly enters when the car is parked on a flat surface.
I would have thought some water could accumulate near the rubber stoppers of the lid on each end corner but it's not there, it's somewhere else.Having so much water inside the lid doesn't enjoy me.
